Brian C. Wright, age 64, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, June 16 at his home.  Brian was born on October 27, 1950 in Austin, Texas, the son of Wilbert and Geraldine Benford Wright.

     Brian worked as an electrical engineer at Collins Radio in Iowa and had been a resident of Mt. Pleasant since 1976.  He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.  Brian was a big baseball fan and loved all sports.

    Brian is survived by his mother, Geraldine Wright of Grand Rapids; a son, Kolan and Lisa Wright of Somerset, Kentucky; a daughter, Kendra Wright of Phoenix, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Jenna Wright, Alex Wright, Noelle Wright, Joel Wright, Tyler Wright, Shyheim Baker, Andrew Wright, Matthew Wright, and Hannah Wright; three brothers, Phillip and Diane Wright of Grand Rapids, Wilbert G. Wright of Dallas, TX, and John T. and Laura Wright of Fennville, MI; and a niece, Lynn Wright of Fennville, MI.  He was preceded in death by his father in 1980 and a sister Angela.

    Graveside services for Brian will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Noon at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2894 Patterson Ave., SE, Grand Rapids with interment following.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wilbert Wright Scholarship Fund at Central Michigan University.
